Lithiasis (stones)

The calculations are generally saline formations similar to the stones that can form in any organ or body conduit.

The calculi is a common disorder that affects up to 6% of the general population, with a higher incidence in men above 30 years.
The calculi may be asymptomatic or, rather, may occur with aspecific symptoms such as back pain or burning on urination, does not necessarily correlate to the calculations.

Lithiasis

Cause:
excess minerals (eg. Calcium)
local disturbances as shares of bacteria or slow down the flow of liquids
imbalances food (intake of excessive amounts of calcium, sodium, animal protein)
obesity
urinary tract infection
low hydration

Symptoms:
pain, swelling and inflammation
obstruction of a duct
predisposition to infection

Disorders:
Nephrolithiasis (kidney stones)
calculations differ calcareous (containing calcium) and non-calcareous (bunker, uric acid, or cystine)
main causes: hypercalciuria (excessive urinary calcium excretion), iperuricosuria (excessive excretion of uric acid), iperossaluria (excessive excretion of urinary oxalate), ipercitruria (reduced excretion of citrate), cistinuria (inherited metabolic disease that causes excessive excretion of the amino acid arginine , lysine, ornithine and cystine) hyperparathyroidism, excessive synthesis of vitamin D3, infections
may cause hydronephrosis (swelling of the kidneys) and renal insufficiency
may prepare to pyelonephritis (kidney infection)
may progress in calculations into the bladder and bladder obstruction
cause renal colic
